That was pretty disappointing. Not even an honorable mention. Oh well. The teachers liked it, reportedly. There were some other disagreements though... or something like that. Anyways.
I've got homework and sleep to catch up on.

I'm in school right now, computer class. Killng time for whatever. Anyways, yeah. A bunch of people are in class to vote on the entrepreneur class' ads. They made various ads, and we have to choose the best ones.
I have to present my speech in the auditorium. It's making me nervous, but I'm still kinda confident. My friend suggested to break down on stage and go crazy or something, but I'd rather not. Sure, it'd be fun to knock over podiums and stuff, but... yeah.
I'm so tired, yet I'm so wired. It's not enough to pray for mercy, I've tried.
Pilate is my most recent favourite band. Their music is so mellow and calming, it's great for mornings, or credits for movies. Sad movies. Anyways, I've ranted enough.

10000 visitors. Wow.
My school had a rock concert today. Buncha bands performed, including (and here's the shameless site pimping):
The Screaming Portraits, a small jazz group which I don't remember the name of, Probed, Auriga, and Pacer.
The Screaming Portraits were great. Them, along with Auriga, were the highlights of the bunch. Probed was OK, but the vocals could use some work. Pacer was good, but not the second coming of Christ, like some people hyped it up to be. Alex had a more formed opinion of them, check it out.
Yeah.

If you...
1. ...owned a restaurant, what kind of food would you serve?
Poontang
2. ...owned a small store, what kind of merchandise would you sell?
Candy and Sex, preferably my body
3. ...wrote a book, what genre would it be?
Action Erotica
4. ...ran a school, what would you teach?
How to be a bad motherfucker
5. ...recorded an album, what kind of music would be on it?
It'd be depressing.

I'm spending my night listening to the Pixies. Doolittle was fucking genius, and yeah. Kim Deal is hot.
I almost passed out today. Overexerted myself and nearly blacked out in gym class, because I didn't have breakfast. It was seriously horrible. I've gotta remember to have breakfast. That, and I really should figure out what to do with the Weezer thing. It's just... there, updated weekly, I think. I think I'll take it down and re-post it every once in a while. Yeah.
I have a splitting headache and I present my public speech tomorrow. I'm nervous, but I'm as ready as I'll ever be, minus five.
Was on the bus today with Alex and we were talking about the new wave of students at LHA this year, namely the grade 7s and 8s. The one thing that we said that stood out was "Shit. These kids are our future?"
What a bleak and depressing future that'll be. Things either get much better or much worse after you move on to your next year of school. In this case, I really can't say that things have gotten much better... at all.
Holy shit, I'm getting tired. Time to pop a Tylenol and go to sleep.

I should be asleep but being the stupid me that I am, I took a nap and then ended up not tired. I might end up sleeping at midnight again.
The pixies and Weezer are great to listen to at night. They're not loud or imposing. The Pixies are uppity, and Weezer's emo. :D
Tootsie roll god. I mean pop. Adrian might know what I'm talking about, given he didn't get freaked out or anything.
I still smell like my deodorant. At least I know it works.

What a day.
Started off at around 6:30 in the morning. Alarm went off and I spent about two hours sitting around half awake. After calling Alex, I returned Mafia to Blockbuster (and to be honest, I was pretty disappointed). We met up at the Tim Hortons and talked about donuts, Colombian drug money (Note to FBI: We're joking. Honest.), and other wonders of humanity.
When I got up to get a donut, the strangest thing happened. Okay, it really isn't so strange to be honest, but from Alex's point of view, it was... odd. My brother in law was getting donuts there that morning too, and I just happened to be at the cashier next to him. He gave me a light, "friendly" shove, and we said hello. From Alex's point of view, she saw this tall man shove me, and I had a look of confusion on my face. Me and him talked for a bit and then he left.
Fuck I'm tired. Time to sum it all up really fast.
Lots of stuff happened, my pinky got cut, and everything went downhill at around 1:30PM. I like to think that it got better afterwards, but... not really.
Oh, and I was ice skating.
I owe Alex 5 dollars.
